Part I : Retelling after listening

1.In the first part, there are three small questions. The styles of these three questions are prescribed, which are narrative, narrative + argumentation and expository text. They test the students’ listening ability. And ability to form sentences and sense of Chinese language.

2.In the process of listening, take notes of key words quickly so as to form sentences and understand the whole paragraph. For convenience, you can also use your own familiar symbols instead.

3.For the first and second questions, listen to the end, because the end may be unexpected or give some reasons according to the story. In the retelling, the ending part should be consistent with the original content as much as possible, otherwise it will have a great impact on the score.

Part II : Reading aloud

1.This part mainly investigates students’ pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary accumulation and general understanding of the article.

2.In the process of preparation, find out the words that are easy to be read wrong, pay special attention to the front and back nasal sound and flat tilted tongue sound. Although very nervous, but also don’t forget to pay attention to the tone!

3.Browse the article, divide long sentences and pay attention to sentences.

4.If there is a word that you really don’t know, guess according to the shape. For example, “Pavilion” and “stop” are very similar, but in fact, the pronunciation is the same.

Part III :

1.This part is generally composed of an introductory topic and an argumentative topic. An introductory topic does not have to express its own views, but an argumentative topic must express its own views clearly.

2.In the process of preparation, make an outline, so that when you say it, it will be clear.

3.In order to avoid too short content, you can expand the outline, explain your own views from multiple perspectives, or elaborate your own views on the views you don’t agree with. If you can use more related words, idioms and slang, it will improve your score!

4.It can be illustrated with examples, so that the content is more substantial.

5.When speaking, the voice is loud and clear with moderate speed.
